You know how you are always say “I wish I had a camera!” or “Remember when? I wish I had some photos to remember those times”. With this little key chain digital camera you will always be ready! I sound like a late night infomercial salesman. I have no idea about the quality of this little digital camera and I still want one. Buy.com has them for $7.99 with free shipping! You cannot choose what color they send you (White, Silver, Pink or Blue – It is okay guys to wear a pink digital camera, isn’t it?) and it only holds 20 photos at 288X352 on the fine setting or 81 at the low quality setting . It may not be much but it will capture a 20-81 memories at a time and be fashionably worn on your jacket or with your keys. Oh yeah! This can also be a webcam. Cool! About These Products
I like to browse new or interesting products online. There are things I think are useful, cool, interesting or junk, I plan to post those I like for one reason or another. I am not endorsing the product, making any claims about the product, selling the product, responsible for the product, many time I do not even own the product. I just put them out there. So if you do buy one and it ends up being junk, don’t blame me you need to do your own homework before buying.

Recent research on plastic bottles.
I am sure everyone has already heard about the new “scare” on bisphenol-A leaching from the clear polycarbonate plastic baby bottles made by (Dr Browns, First Years, Avent, etc.) I admittedly began to worry as well, especially because all four of my children have used or are using these name brand bottles. All my youngest son needs is another issue, right? After a bit of research I found that the leaching is caused by excessive heating at or over boiling point (212 degrees Fahrenheit / 100 degrees centigrade). Since we normally use breast milk my worry diminished. Furthermore, the formula we use is never boiled and we do not use water that reached boiling point. The best way to warm a bottle of breast milk is to slowly bring it to or just above room temperature. The low temperature preserves the fats and nutrients in the milk and because of the low temperature; the leaching is not an issue. Here is an outstanding PDF published by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of early Education and Care that shows best practices for feeding your children.

Another bit of the warning suggests not storing any breast milk or formula in the bottle. This is sound advise for many reasons not least of which breast milk goes bad rather quickly. Who would want to give their child bad milk?
If you use the bottles in normal fashion there should be no issue. Warm slowly in warm water, do not boil the bottle and never store milk or formula in the bottle I will not worry. Well, okay I am going to worry a little. It seems that the research is not 100% conclusive yet but I will need to do a little more research, make a few calls and try out the alternative bottles available.
