It has been a while since I posted this and I am happy to say that I made it through the winter without sickness. Two of my children had confirmed H1N1 who are perfectly healthy now. It has been about 10 years since I have been sick and even then it was only for six hours. One if the benefits of the Ankylosing spondylitis I have, increased immune system, but my back is killing me! I will be seeing a rheumatologist tomorrrow, finally. I do not want to go on the biologics (TNF Inhibitors) yet, I would rather manage the pain than sacrafice my super-human type immune system.

Check with your primary-care physician, health-maintenance organization, or other first-line medical services provider. While a germ phobia like yours is nothing to sneeze at, there are many treatment modalities available which can, with a little patience and effort on your part, greatly improve your quality of life.
